K.O.–sidekick has two fx slots, one per channel, each with one of six fx.
use them to build transitions and create movement.
filter
want to create sweeps? try the filter! filters are a great way of removing high or low frequencies and changing the character of a sound.
cutoff
move the mod stick to adjust the cutoff point.
resonance
press the force pad to adjust the resonance. this will also insert noise into the filter to create a satisfying sweep!
combine
use the mod stick and force pad together to play the filter like an instrument.
delay
delay is like echo. it repeats the original sound multiple times to make it sound like you are somewhere between a valley and a fish bowl!
length
move the mod stick to adjust the length of your delay. the minimum length is 1/32 and the maximum is 2/1.
amount
press the force pad to adjust the amount of delay. this will mix it in and out.
combine
move the mod stick while the force pad is pressed down to temporarily change the length, perfect for transitions.
tape
fast forward and rewind live audio with the tape. how does it work? don’t worry about that.
forward/back
move the mod stick to fast forward and rewind the tape. this works with any incoming audio.
wow/flutter
press the force pad to add wobble to the tape, use it to mess up the incoming audio.
combine
try combining the two for fun and unexpected results!
loop
use the looper to quickly create short loops. awesome for transitions and great for on-the-fly variations.
length
move the mod stick to adjust the length of the loop.
engage
press the force pad to engage the looper. it will always lock on to the nearest beat so you are always in time.

move the mod stick while the force pad is pressed down to temporarily change the length.
tremolo
tremolo will modulate the volume of your signal in time with the beat to create added rhythm.

siren
siren is a dub siren that can be used to add fun noises while transitioning between tracks.
