’might just be the most anticipated synthesizer
in the history of mankind.’
’it's slick, occasionally innovative and, above all, uncluttered. there's a real feeling of restraint, of limiting the tweakable parameters only to the essentials so that you're never diverted from what matters — making music’
–SOUND ON SOUND
’this is simply great’
NINE INCH NAILS
’endless enjoyment out of this machine’
’it’s been a long time since i’ve seen something as interesting, flexible and creative as this. after my tour in sweden, the whole team came back-stage and we jammed together.
i chose this synth to show that any instrument, from no matter what time, can have a completely timeless value. i’m sure that musicians will still be using the OP-1 in 50 years.

with thirteen synthesizer engines, seven high quality effects and multiple routable lfo’s, you'll never hit the wall when it comes to creativity or finding the right sound for the job. add the unique built-in sequencers on top of that and you'll understand why so many highly regarded producers and artists hold this little machine so dear.
record anything you create with
the 4-track tape feature. match the tape speed to the sequencer tempo for some really nice overdubbing. change tape speed while recording, or record backwards in realtime. switch to the 4 channel mixer and add some punch with the built in
eq and compressor.
use OP-1 to synchronize your pocket operators or connect it to any other gear using midi over usb. audio can be streamed directly over usb so no external sound card is needed. when you connect OP-1 to a computer using the included usb cable, OP-1 shows up as an audio device, midi controller or a mass storage device. if storage device is selected, just drag and drop audio files between your computer and the OP-1.
