how OD-11 works
airplay
AirPlay 2 is available for your iOS or mac OS devices. AirPlay 2 allows these devices to send signals via wifi to multiple OD-11s for multiroom and stereo pairing. the audio stream from your devices go to your home router and then to OD-11, and any other compatible speakers.
spotify connect
when playing music with spotify connect,the music is in the cloud, you access the music through your device via spotify. OD-11 receives signal directly from the cloud. available on all platforms with spotify installed.

apple tv
you can use OD-11 with apple tv and all content therein. for the audio, OD-11 receives signal from apple tv wirelessly.

line-in / optical in
for other devices which can't be set up to play wirelessly, OD-11 has both line-in and optical in as options. if you have a stereo pair, no cable is needed between the
OD-11s.

DIRECT MODE
works for single speaker as well as stereo pair
direct mode provides
no audible latency. it is useful for watching TV or when playing musical instruments. direct mode is automatically enabled in a single speaker setup with line in or optical input connected. (also automatically enabled for a stereo pair when cables are connected to both speakers.)
