17.1 introduction
the bootloader in OP-1 is called te-boot. it loads and runs your OP-1 firmware, and is also used for firmware update and factory reset, as well as for certain hardware tests and diagnostics.
17.2 access te-boot
to access te-boot do the following:
make sure OP-1 is off
disconnect any usb cable and wait three seconds
hold the COM key while powering up
17.3 firmware update
access
te-boot
press 1
connect OP-1 to your computer using the usb cable. the OP-1 will appear as a removable disk on your computer
4. copy the firmware file
to the removable disk
5. eject the removable disk
6. press the COM key

note: if it doesn't work then please try using different usb cables, as well as different computers if possible.
17.4 function test

follow the on-screen instructions
17.5 factory reset

press 7
follow the on-screen instructions
note: all user content will be removed.
OP-1 will recreate its original file structure and reboot in tape mode when finished.
17.6 format internal drive

press 8
follow the on-screen instructions
note: all user content will be removed and
firmware will need to be reinstalled
